 Types of Allyship Actions

Educational

• Educate selves about LGBTQ+ realities and concerns
• Seek to understand individual experiences
• Educate others
• Empower others to ally

Personal / Relational

• Listen
• Support mental health
• Normalize LGBTQ+ experiences
• Create safe personal spaces

Public / Advocacy

• Associate & spend time with diverse LGBTQ+ people
• Work toward improvements for the whole LGBTQ+ community
• Work as hard as the most marginalized in the LGBTQ+ community
